Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comic born on June 26, 1984. She stars as April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. In The Jeannie Tate Show her character began her web-based series debut after doing sketch comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Following her first appearance the actress went on to appeared as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. Make sure to celebrate her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza born Wilmington Delaware is the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plass and financial specialist David Plaza. Her mother is Irish as well as English as was her father, who hails from Puerto Rico. Plaza is a graduate of the Catholic All-Girls School in 2002. She graduated in 2006 from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. While she was a senior in high school, Plaza was involved at Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student government. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 when she was in college. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia. She also experienced an ephemeral period of paralysis. She's now completely recovered. Plaza started doing comedy and sketch at New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The Laugh Factory, The Improv and The Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are all places where she did stand-up comedy. Plaza appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz. On CollegeHumor's Troopers she performed the role of Princess in an satirical sci-fi creation. Plaza was first a saxophone player in Cassorla's Bona Fide (2014). The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. Then on HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee, a grinning gnome. She played Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. and Cat Adams on Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The show's 12th season saw her made a successful comeback in the part. A year later it was announced that Plaza was to appear on the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
